Life Saved №6320

On July 15th, 2026, a 1-year-old boy from Surrey choked on a piece of meat resulting in a complete airway obstruction.

We are thrilled to share news of our 6,320th life saved in a choking emergency!

1-year-old Teddy choked on a small piece of meat which caused a complete airway obstruction. His mother, Emily, performed first aid choking protocol which could not dislodge Teddy's airway obstruction.

LifeVac was then applied in a sitting position. On the first application LifeVac dislodged the piece of meat, enabling Teddy to breathe again.

Emily took Teddy to hospital to be check over, his throat and lungs were checked and was given the all clear.

"The most critical role, it saved my babies life, nothing else was working. The LifeVac saved his life."  - Emily
