We are thrilled to share news of our 6,246th life saved in a choking emergency!
On July 9th, 2026, an 8-year-old boy choked on a hotdog resulting in a complete airway obstruction. LifeVac dislodged the obstruction on its third application. The child's grandmother described the incident as follows:
“We had just come in from a day of swimming to get a bite to eat. We fixed some hotdogs and the first bite that our grandson took got lodged in his throat. It happened so quick. I had my back to him and when I turned around, he had a look on his face of fear. I said “are you choking” and he nodded his head yes. I ran to get my LifeVac and asked Jesus to help me. I asked him to lay on the floor and proceeded to use it on him. When it was over, we hugged and cried and thanked Jesus and LifeVac. Afterwards he said “l’m glad you bought that for us Granny”. The event did scare him though and he said he’s never eating another hotdog, I don’t blame him.
