Our Partnership With Charities

Love, Jasmine was established in 2016 by Rob and Kathy Lapsley. Following the death of their 6 year old daughter, Jasmine. Jasmine died after she choked on a grape in August 2014.

Love, Jasmine provides support to families bereaved by the loss of a child from 20 weeks gestation and including those families who have lost adult children. They provide emotional support by the way 1-2-1 counselling, peer group support and trauma therapy. They also provide practical help and give families access to self-care strategies. Although Love, Jasmine are a Liverpool based charity they can provide support to families across the country.

Co-Founder – Rob Lapsley: “We believe that had we and the emergency services had access to a LifeVac then Jasmine would still be with us. They should be considered an essential part of any first aid kit”.

The Oliver Steeper Foundation is in memory of Oli, who choked on pasta whilst at nursery in 2021. He passed away when he was 9 months old. The Foundation’s aims will be to save lives and help lives. We hope to spread the same infectious hope and love of life that Oli had to families who are struggling.

When Oliver left us very unexpectedly and suddenly we needed to make sure that the love and excitement he had for life continued to spread smiles and comfort in hard times.

Working with LifeVac is the Foundation’s first big project and once registered we will be funding devices to be placed into nurseries, childcare settings and schools across Kent.

Child Bereavement UK helps families to rebuild their lives when a child grieves or when a child dies. We support children and young people (up to the age of 25) when someone important to them has died or is not expected to live, and parents and the wider family when a baby or child of any age dies or is dying. We provide training to professionals in health and social care, education, and the voluntary and corporate sectors, equipping them to provide the best possible care to bereaved families.
