On January 27th, 2025 a 4-year-old boy choked on a marble causing a complete airway obstruction. First aid choking protocol was followed. LifeVac® removed the obstruction on the second application!
The child’s mother described the incident as follows:
“My son was playing with marbles and put one in his mouth where it got lodged in his throat. My husband saw him struggling to breathe and attempted first aid and to get him to throw up.
