On July 24th, 2025 a 3-year-old girl choked on thick firm mucus causing a complete airway obstruction while sleeping. First aid choking protocol was followed. LifeVac® removed the obstruction on the second application!
3-year-old Olivia was asleep laying with her mum, Alison. Alison realised that Olivia had stopped breathing and had become unresponsive. Olivia’s mother delivered back blows to no avail and shouted for her husband.

“I was with Olivia when she stopped breathing and immediately shouted for my husband. I began back blows whilst my husband was shouting outside for help, my neighbour ran in (who is a doctor), however I had already given up with back blows at this time and had used LifeVac.
