The team at LifeVac Europe are very pleased to share more amazing news that LifeVac has helped save yet another life in the UK Adult Care Sector. This time within Hallmark Care Homes following their group roll out.

LifeVac helps save a life within Hallmark Care Homes

An elderly resident was eating his dinner when he came into difficulty, a piece of chicken became lodged in his airway and he began to choke. Staff acted quickly delivering BLS choking protocol (back blows and abdominal thrusts) which unfortunately failed to dislodge the obstruction. The gentleman became unconscious, nurses grabbed their LifeVac wall mounted kit and deployed LifeVac. Within seconds LifeVac dislodged the chicken and the gentleman started to breathe and regained consciousness.

"This is brilliant news! We are so proud to have partnered with Hallmark Care Homes. Like many other care providers across the UK have discovered this was one of the best decisions around safeguarding the people they care for in a choking emergency when all else fails. Having now worked with over 4600 care and nursing homes across the UK we are proud of the impact we are making on families lives"
