LifeVac Europe attends the 2022 ERC Congress in Antwerp Belgium
LifeVac Europe had the pleasure of showcasing LifeVac at this years ERC Congress in Antwerp Belgium
June 16th and 17th the European Resuscitation Council held their yearly congress in Antwerp, Belgium. The ERC hold yearly congresses to share success stories, advances in resuscitation, poster abstracts and much more following a Scientific Programme.
This is the first year since COVID-19 that people have been able to meet face to face, as well as virtually (hybrid event).
LifeVac Europe haven’t had the opportunity to attend an ERC Congress since 2018 in Bologna, Italy. Since 2018, LifeVac has acquired a further 7 peer reviewed medical publications covering lives saved, independent testing, safety, effectiveness and ease of use. Furthermore we have now saved over 395 lives in a choking emergency!
With all of this in mind, we thought it would be a great opportunity to update as many people within the medical community as possible.
It was a fantastic two days, meeting new people, demonstrating LifeVac and having people use LifeVac on one of our manikins. We also handed out our condensed medical folder to everyone who visited our booth, people were amazed to see how much scientific and medical evidence supports the use of LifeVac. Our condensed medical folder contains all current independent testing, abstracts, peer reviewed medical publications. These cover lives saved, safety, effectiveness and ease of use.
LifeVac as a whole, firmly feels we are on the right path for achieving our long term goal by 2025. Having non-invasive hand held suction devices implemented into BLS first aid choking protocol. This would raise the current 70-76% effectiveness of current guidelines to as close to 100% a possible. This will also give over 1 billion people around the world an additional option who cannot currently receive abdominal thrusts and/or back blows, helping save tens of thousands of lives every year.
